Summer of Bitcoin places students into open-source Bitcoin projects through a competitive selection: about 50 to 60 are chosen globally each year from roughly 5,000 applicants. Selected twice, both times to work on SeedSigner, an air-gapped Bitcoin signing device.

- Now one of the top contributors to SeedSigner, involved in 80+ PRs and issues.
- Automated SeedSigner’s localization (i18n) workflows to remove routine burden from translators, contributors, and maintainers while improving review quality and safety.
- Built CI tooling to detect missing and stale translations across supported languages, catching errors pre-review and cutting manual maintainer effort.
- Extended BIP-85 support on SeedSigner (air-gapped Bitcoin hardware wallet) to enable direct child seed loading.
- Refactored the Python codebase for maintainability and shipped UI alerts warning users of high transaction fees.
- Hardened CI/CD pipelines and resolved targeted bugs, improving build reliability and code quality across releases.
